Maryland-based R&B vocalist Raheem DeVaughn kicked his career into gear after initiating a series of independent releases. The Love Experience, released in June 2005. peaked within the Top 50 of the Billboard 200 album chart, with the singles “You” and “Guess Who Loves You More. The critically acclaimed Love Behind the Melody followed in January 2008. Its first single, “Woman,” was his biggest hit and was nominated for a 2008 Grammy in the category of Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. A year later, “Customer” was nominated for Best R&B Song. Led by the late-2009 single “Bulletproof,” featuring Ludacris, DeVaughn’s The Love & War MasterPeace surfaced in March 2010, debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200, and received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album. His latest studio album Love Sex Passion was released in early 2015. DeVaughn has been compared to numerous R&B legends and is becoming a legend in his own right!


Born and raised 15 miles outside New York City, the Passaic New Jersey native moved south to Tennessee as he earned an athletic scholarship and played football for the University of Tennessee. As a Quarterback, he played in four bowl game victories and won back to back SEC Championships. Also in college, he served as President of his Fraternity, created Club 90 for WUTK (the only hip hop radio show in the area), spent countless hours at Beaumont Elementary with the Dance Team and Track Teams. The Dance Team help raise 2 million dollars to keep the D.A.R.E Program active in Knoxville by performing live for then Governor Ned McWherter at the House in Nashville. After college, Sterling played four seasons of professional football and continued in radio, television and entertainment. With over 22 years’ experience, Sterling has performed as a Disc Jockey and hosted events nationwide with international experience in Canada, Mexico, Bahamas and Bali Indonesia. Hosting local radio sports talk and specialty music shows; he also does a football television show and color commentary for football games. Professionally he has worked as VP of Marketing for Warner Brothers (Southeast Region) before becoming a Senior Business Analyst.
